The 14th International Conference for Plant Mitochondrial Biology (ICPMB 2026) will be held in Kagoshima, Japan, from May 18th to 22nd, 2026, at the Li-Ka Nangoku Hall.

Building on the tradition of excellence established at previous ICPMB meetings, this biennial conference brings together researchers from around the world—both junior and senior—to explore the fascinating world of plant mitochondrial biology and to foster new collaborations across disciplines.

ICPMB 2026 promises to be an exciting event, featuring around 50 oral presentations, two poster sessions, and ample opportunities for networking and discussion. The conference will cover a wide range of topics, from fundamental research to applications in agriculture, highlighting the latest discoveries and innovative ideas driving the field forward.
