Course A: Sakurajima Geopark Trekking
Experience the immense power of Sakurajima, one of the world’s most active volcanoes and the symbol of Kagoshima. The tour begins at the Sakurajima Visitor Center (link), where you can learn about the volcano's fascinating history and eruptive mechanics. Next, we will visit the Yunohira Observatory (link) to take in breathtaking, close-up views of the rugged crater from the highest accessible point. Finally, enjoy a stop at the Sakurajima Bussankan (link) to discover unique local specialties grown in the fertile volcanic soil.
Course B: Chiran Samurai Residences and Tea Culture Experience
Step back in time to the Edo period in the beautiful town of Chiran, often called the "Little Kyoto of Kyushu." This course features a stroll through the Chiran Samurai Residences (link), where you can explore seven exquisite traditional gardens that remain unchanged for centuries. The experience continues at the historic Kyu-Saigo Mansion (link), where you will enjoy a traditional Japanese tea ceremony featuring premium Kagoshima green tea and seasonal sweets in a serene, authentic setting.

features 17th-century gardens and a historic residence overlooking Sakurajima and Kagoshima Bay.
